Taping Flat Ceilings - YES!!!

I am an experienced Indianapolis Painter, and I have not taped ceilings in the past. I just completed a painting project where I taped (FrogTape) the ceiling in order to get a crisper line between the ceiling and walls. I originally cut in the ceiling, but the cut-in line was very uneven, and it appeared there was paint on the ceiling. To rectify, I painted a bead of white up on the ceiling around all 4 walls and let it dry. Then I followed up with the FrogTape, and the lines were perfect. My customer was very happy.

Most ceilings have a textured surface and this makes it difficult to tape because the paint will seep under the tape. If you have a flat ceiling surface, give taping a try.
