I completed a one day exterior trim job. It involved a lot of scraping and sanding in preparation for the finish coat. I also had to use my recently purchased 28' extension ladder.
I used various tools including my oscillating electric scraper that really knocks off the old paint. I followed up with an electric sander to feather in the removed paint. I primed all the bare spots and then applied Sherwin Williams Resilient Acrylic Latex with a satin sheet. It looked very good.
