Painting Tape

Although I am an experienced Indianapolis painter, nothing looks more professional than a straight line left by painter's tape. Some painting contractors will tell you they don't need to use tape, but tape is not only for straight and crisp lines, but also to capture any splatters from your roller.

There are a lot of products out there and you can quickly break your budget just on tape. Depending on your budget and need for perfection, this is my order of priority:

1 - FrogTape (green)
2 - Painter's Blue tape (3-M)
3 - Purple tape - when taping ceiling to prevent the banding look
4 - Yellow tape (contractor's tape) - use between carpet and baseboards
