Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior Acrylic Latex

I just completed a typical front porch in Fishers using Duration Exterior Acrylic Latex by Sherwin Williams. This is the top of the line paint made by SW and is so much thicker. It is great. I also used a satin finish that the customer loved.

Steps:
1. Scraped the front rail that had a lot of loose paint.
2. Sanded and feathered the areas where I did a lot of scraping.
3. Power washed the front porch including the ceiling.
4. Used two tubes of caulk on just the railing and spindles.
5. Primed all the bare areas and the areas I caulked.
6. Applied the Duration paint.

The entire painting project took me about 18 hours.
