Westfield Interior Painting Project

I just completed a large interior project that included two coats on the walls and one coat on the trim. I was using eggshell on the walls so really needed to ensure that I kept a wet edge and ensure I wasn't getting the "hat band" look. When putting two coats on, it is easier to eliminate this. The walls really did look solid with no roller lines or banding around doors and windows. I really like the PPG trim paint.

Products used:

All trim - PPG Porter Advantage 900 "White Umber" with semi-gloss sheen
Kitchen walls - Benjamin Moore "Kentucky Haze" with eggshell sheen
Master bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet - Sherwin Williams ProGreen 200 with eggshell sheen.

When painting a room, one cannot just look at the individual room and the feel or atmosphere that is trying to be created. It is wise to have the entire house or the same floor have rooms that are all painted in a similar palette. This will ensure that there is a flow from room to room and one particular room does not stand out drastically
