Noblesville large painting project

I completed a large painting project on Thursday (took me 4 long days) that included a loft, bathroom, stairwell, entryway, dining room, and living room.  It was a challenge because of the preparation, deep-based colors, two colors in some rooms, and two coats. I also had to complete work over the stairwell and paint walls in a large entry wall that went up to 18 feet. I also did some touch-up in several rooms that the customer wanted me to make look a little more presentable.

Challenges:
  • Repaired one large hole in the wall. Used a local drywalling company in order to ensure no sign of hole after painting;
  • large entryway where I needed to bring in my 24 foot extension ladder to reach the ceiling;
  • two colors used in the bathroom and loft, which adds time to complete; and
  • had to bring in levelers to work over stairwell.
